Regions of the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic, with a total area of approximately 79,000 km2, is divided into fourteen territorial administration units, called regions. These regions are: Prague, South Bohemia, South Moravia, Karlovy Vary, Hradec Králové, Liberec, Moravia-Silesia, Olomouc, Pardubice, Plzeň, Central Bohemia, Ustí nad Labem, Zlín and Vysočina. The government agency CzechTourism promotes the regions and particularly their tourism.
