Press Conference after the Informal Meeting of Ministers for Education

Central to the informal meeting of Education Ministers was the partnership between education institutions and employers in relation to support for creativity and innovation. Against the backdrop of the current financial crisis, undesirable demographic developments, globalisation, technological progress and environmental challenges, the Ministers discussed the strategic issue of active cooperation between education and all the relevant stakeholders (particularly employers) with regard to the development of Europe in the post-Lisbon period.
