Current political situation in Moldova

Czech Prime Minister and President of the European Council Mirek Topolánek spoke on the phone today with the President of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, about the current situation in the Republic of Moldova.

The President of the European Council confirmed that on 22 April 2009 he will visit Moldova, where the results of recent parliamentary elections sparked violent protests.
