Invitation to the press conference on the occasion of the Ministerial Conference eHealth 2009
A special press conference “eHealth for Individuals, Society and Economy” with ministers of EU Member States will start on 19 February 2009 at 2.30 p.m. at Villa Richter.
The following persons are supposed to take part in the press conference:
- Daniela FILIPIOVÁ, Minister of Health,
- Alois STÖGER, Federal Minister of Health, Family and Youth,
- Christos PATSALIDES, Minister of Health,
- Maret MARIPUU, Minister of Social Affairs,
- Bernat SORIA ESCOMS, Minister of Health and Consumer Affairs,
- Bujar OSMANI, Minister of Health,
- Richard RAŠI, Minister of Health,
- Mario SALMAS, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Solidarity acting as Government Minister,
- Pat COX, former President of the European Parliament
The Ministerial Conference “eHealth for Individuals, Society and Economy” takes place on 18 – 20 February at the Ambassador Hotel. It is already the seventh annual conference organised by the presiding EU country and the European Commission with the aim to share knowledge and experience with the information technologies application for the European healthcare. This year conference will – in accordance with its title – focus on three main themes, i.e. individuals (patients and healthcare providers), society (deployment of eHealth solutions, standardization and contribution of eHealth to the transformation of healthcare systems), and the economy (financial sustainability of the healthcare, business models, and funding opportunities for eHealth applications). The Press Conference takes place at Villa Richter, 251 Staré zámecké schody 6, Praha 1 – Pražský hrad.
After the press conference “family photo” of all participants will follow.
Working language of the press conference will be English with the interpretation to Czech.
