Kalousek Meets Darling to Discuss Czech Presidency Priorities

Czech Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling met in Prague today.

The ministers talked mainly about the priorities of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union. They focused on issues relating to the financial crisis and on the European Economic Recovery Plan, adopted by the European Council in December 2008. They also discussed cooperation with the G20 Forum.
