23rd Meeting of Competent Authorities for Medical Devices (CAMD), Prague

Objectives:
The 23rd regular meeting of Competent Authorities for Medical Devices attended by 27 national experts from the European Union, candidate countries, EFTA countries and the European Commission focuses primarily on transposition of directive 2007/47/EC into national legislation, discussion of the results of the public consultation regarding the revision of the directives on medical devices and the tendencies in directive amendments. Issues of global harmonisation in the area of medical devices and reports from the EU work groups will be also discussed.
