The meeting of the Management Board of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) will take place in Prague on 31 March.
The meeting will be attended by the Chair of the Management Board, Ms Diána Bánáti; the Executive Director of the Authority, Ms Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle; and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Commodities, Mr Stanislav Kozák, representing the Presidency.
The EFSA Management Board is composed of 14 members, appointed by the Council of Ministers in consultation with the European Parliament. The Board oversees the carrying out of the EFSA’s mission and is responsible for the efficient performance of the tasks assigned to it. The newly appointed members of the Management Board include a representative of the Czech Republic, Mr Jiří Ruprich.
The persons attending the Prague meeting of the Board, which will take place at the Alcron SAS Radisson Hotel on 31 March, will include the Chair of the Management Board, Ms Diána Bánáti; the Executive Director of EFSA, Ms Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle; and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture for the Commodities Section, Mr Stanislav Kozák.
