Symposium "Building Together the Future of Europe”

The European Jewish Congress (EJC) under the patronage of the Czech Presidency of the EU and the European Parliament (President Hans-Gert Pöttering), with the participation of the European Commission (vice-president Jacques Barrot), is organizing a one day symposium on the theme of building together the future of Europe, where community and religious leaders, MEPs, Presidents of political groups, experts and intellectuals will meet to discuss how to face the challenges posed by intolerance and how European citizens can learn to better co-exist. The symposium will have 2 parts, one concentrating on the current state of  anti-Semitism in Europe; the second on living together in Europe, intercultural dialogue, common values and mutual understanding.
