Press Conference on EU Middle East Mission Led by Minister Schwarzenberg

A press conference and a photo opportunity will take place at the Stará Ruzyně airport in Prague on 4 January 2009 at 13:30 on the occasion of the departure of the EU delegation headed by the President of the EU General Affairs and External Relations Council and Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, Karel Schwarzenberg.
Shortly before leaving for Egypt, Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan, Karel Schwarzenberg will present the objectives of the mission and answer questions from the media. The conference will be attended by Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Member of the Commission in charge of External Relations and the European Neighbourhood Policy, the Swedish Foreign Minister, Carl Bildt, and the French Foreign Minister, Bernard Kouchner.
