A meeting of the Monitoring Committee, organised under the Czech EU Presidency, will take place in Prague at the Top Hotel Praha. The meeting will be held at working level and will be attended by 31 countries (the EU 27 plus Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway) and representatives of the Coordination Unit and the Managing Authority of ESPON 2013. The main items on the agenda include additional research themes for the new call for expressions of interest and the possibility to integrate private entities in future calls. This is related to the issue of the administrative aspects of the entire operational programme. The aim of the meeting is to improve the quality of projects that are submitted and implemented and to accelerate their implementation and their subsequent output.
